Michael Johnson, MD, is a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist caring for patients in Gainesville, Florida. Following his psychiatric residency, Dr. Johnson completed a specialty fellowship in anxiety disorders. He was a faculty member first at the Medical University of South Carolina and then at the University of Florida between 1992 and 2003. He has spent the last 15 years in a community based private practice.

Good psychiatric care has multiple core components - compassion, comprehensiveness and compassion. Dr. Johnson believes in incorporating all of these components into his treatment.
