Dr. Maria Castilla, an SRC Accredited Master Surgeon in Robotic Surgery, was born in Bogota, Colombia and grew up in Tampa. She graduated magna cum lade with a degree in Chemical Sciences from Florida State University in 2004 and also obtained her medical degree there in 2009. She attended residency at Carilion Clinic-Virginia Tech in Roanoke, Virginia where her interest in robotic surgery first started.
