Women's heart disease care
Heart disease kills six times as many women as breast cancer, making it the leading cause of death amongst women and men. We believe in educating women about risk factors related to heart disease, including those specific to women such as use of birth control pills, particularly while smoking, as well as hormonal replacement therapy. Other risk factors to be aware of are family history, increasing age, previous heart attacks, smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure and sedentary lifestyles.
